Latest solutions to integrate with ActiveCampaign

We’ve had some new integrations released recently:

  • [PieSync] - Keep your contacts in sync.
  • [Segment] - Send contact data to other apps.
  • [MindBody] - Organize your business.
  • [Privy] - Grow your list with advanced lead capture.
  • [Survicate] - Targeted forms and surveys.
  • [Bloom] - Elegant opt-in forms for Wordpress.
  • [Mailmuch] - Grow your list with a variety of forms.
  • [Marketer’s Delight] - Forms for Wordpress.
  • [Deadline Funnel] - Synced countdown timers and expiring links.

I just want to be sure the community is up-to-date. I’m especially excited about Segment and Bloom.

EDIT: Just heard our Shopify integration has been updated/fixed.

I found the Shopify integration in their app store, am I correct in seeing that all it does is send over an email address when someone opts in at checkout? More information would be awesome, lifetime value, most recent order date, etc.

Hi,

I contacted the developer responsible for the integration and he passed this info along:

"The integration allows users to have new checkouts (orders) from their Shopify store sent into ActiveCampaign (as a contact sync). So when someone purchases a product and checks out from their Shopify storefront, the following data is sent into ActiveCampaign:

  • Name (system field)
  • Email (system field)
  • Company (global custom field)
  • Billing Address (global custom field)
  • Phone Number (global custom field)
  • Order Number (global custom field)
  • Total Price (global custom field)

We only process contacts that check the “Subscribe to our newsletter” checkbox on the payment method section of the cart/checkout process."

Awesome, thanks for the info!

Brian,

Just to clarify…

If using the Shopify integration, all that data about our customer will only be sent into our ActiveCampaign system IF and ONLY IF the customer checks the “Subscribe to our newsletter” checkbox?

If that is the case, that is pretty lame. They are our customer and we should be able to follow-up with them via emails sent from ActiveCampaign. It makes no sense that the data would not be pushed to our system.

I can understand the “subscribe to our newsletter” thing, but only for newsletters.

What is up with that? Please explain.

Is there any hope of integrating with Volusion? Their CRM is ridiculously lame. Seems like no one integrates with Volusion or vice versa.

Hi @privatelabelfitness - I would head over to Zapier! There you can connect ActiveCampaign to Volusion.

Here is all the info you should need to accomplish this, but let me know if you need some additional help!

I agree.

Furthermore, how would one go about being able to access a contact’s purchase history?

By this I mean to be able to target contacts that have bought specific products, product categories or have not bought products at all.

Thanks,

Lawrence

Is anyone using the Segment integration yet? We’re just starting this whole new world of cloud marketing tools, and we have some pretty sophisticated events building up in things like Woopra and Optimizely, but I’m still trying to wrap my head around how to use Segment to populate tags and custom fields, let alone firing Automatons based on Segment event calls.

I ask that the Shopify integration be upgraded to include more fields, specifically:

ADDRESS as street, city, state, zip, country. This is crucial for geographically targeting campaigns in the future.

TAGS created from the Line Item Title, or some field brought over containing the Line Item Title. Maybe a new field in AC called Products Bought.

I know this can be done because I can do it now via zapier integration. The downside there is the 15 minute delay and extra cost. AC’s direct integration with Shopify works great so far, but would be much more useful with these small upgrades. Certainly the separating of the address fields would be trivial, so I ask for this upgrade.

Thanks!

Where do I find additional info on the MindBody integration please? MindBody dont seem to know anything about AC? Thanks!

Hi @escapingyourcomfortz!

We’re currently looking for beta users to help shape this integration! Would you be interested in participating? If so, you can send me a PM or email me at ecooke@activecampaign.com.

Hi @stevenkessler!

We’ve done some reorganization on our feedback forum, and I recommend adding your additional feedback to this piece: http://feedback.activecampaign.com/forums/238014-feedback-ideas/suggestions/6892624-ecommerce-data-deep-integration-a-la-stripe-woo-sh

Then make sure to give it some upvotes!

I understand that to have full stats / tracking from the beginning, I should collect leads / opt-in using an AC form. I have access to both Bloom and Thrive Leads plugins. Since I am in the DIVI eco-system, I would like to know which one is best, and why. Here are some of my criterias for “best”:

  1. AC will tag and track the opt-in from beginning to end.

I read somewhere that in order to do this in Thrive Leads, one should not use the API, but use AC HTML form “integrated” into Thrive Leads opt-in boks (oh - and yes; I don’t speak Code very well).

  1. It will work inside the DIVI environment, without coding and such.

I may be missing something, but I’ll be greatful if you guys are willing to try and help me with some pointers.

Thank you

I am looking for info on this topic as well. Did you ever come up with a solution?

Hey Ruth! Sorry we missed this when it was originally published, but in the spirit of providing insight on this question, I’ll be happy to take a look!

When it comes to integrations, they can be either native (supported by us) or third party/custom (supported by an external source), which seems to be the case here. We encourage you to also gather extra insights from their team and, of course if something is needed from our end throughout the process, will be more than happy to help. I will attach our Native integrations page for you to have as reference.

Keep us posted if anything else comes up along the way!
