Invalid Characters

Cannot import file with emojis. Popup with “File contains invalid characters” appears in red box at top of page and will not continue to import file.

Was able to import files with emoji’s previously.

Correct, for your CSV file to be successfully imported into ActiveCampaign, there shouldn’t be any emojis in your file. There are a few recommendations to prepare your file before uploading and make this process as smooth as possible. Here they are:

  1. Make your CSV file as small as possible
  2. Use proper field formatting (no emojis, special character, tags without “,”…)
  3. Break up large import files into smaller files
