Incrementing Custom Field Values based on RSS Posts

Hi. I have an RSS campaign that sends emails based on new blog posts on my site.

I would like to increment a custom field for all contacts who receive one of these from me. So each time I send you a blog post using this campaign, this custom field increases by 1. That way, I can do some stuff based on how many blog posts you’ve received from me.

Is there any way to do that here?

Hi Lyas,

You aren’t able to increment a custom field but you could increment a score and then use that score the same way you’d use a custom field.

Let me know if you have any questions about how to get this set up.

Thanks Brian. Unfortunately I’m on a plan without scoring, and the incremental benefit of scoring alone doesn’t justify the upgrade. I will go without for the time being!
