Include form more than once on a webpage

Hi,

I am trying to include activecampaign form on my website, but javascript for the code does not work if a form is included more than once in a page. Is there a simple way to do it? Modifying javascript methods do not seem like an option because a number of assumptions like presence of global methods are needed for active campaign forms to work? Please suggest way to easily include the form twice (or multiple times) on same page?

Hey gapcodev2

Biannca here from our CX team, sorry we missed this when it was originally published.

In the spirit of providing insight on this question, embedding multiple forms with the same type of form code (e.g. two forms using Full Embed code, or two forms using the Short Code) will cause issues.

  • This means that you can’t use multiple forms that require the simple embed code (floating bar, floating box, modal) on the same page.

The only way to avoid this is to use a standard form using the full embed code and a form using the javascript simple embed code.

  • Just a note, if there is a page filled with forms, it’s more likely to be viewed as “spammy” (and you don’t want that).
