If I set WAIT til FIELD_DATE is BEFORE TODAY, what if FIELD_DATE EMPTY?

I’ve got a WAIT for TODAY to be BEFORE a Custom Field (date format).

If that Field is NOT set, does the WAIT just get ignored?

In the spirit of providing insight on this question, if there’s not date value stored in the custom field a contact will wait on the automation action until they meet the condition.
