Identifying Contacts Who Opened Email >1

Hi Everyone,

I see ways to identify visitors who visit a URL based on a range of visits, however, don’t see a way to identify / segment contacts who’ve opened emails (a specific email or any email) >1 time.

Is there a way to do this?

Thx,
Skip

Hey Skip (rax233),

Biannca here from our CX team, sorry we missed this when it was originally published.

In the spirit of providing insight on this question, we don’t have a segment/condition to look for contacts who have opened an email >X times. If you are trying to track overall opens for a contact, what you can do is explore Contact Scoring.

Contact scoring is pretty much a way to give a contact a score after they do X (e.g opening campaign). Once they action that, X point is given to the contact. From there you can determine how many times a contact completed a certain action.

For example:

  1. Create a contact score for contacts who open the email.
  2. Every time a contact opens an email, they get 1 point.
  3. On the contact profile, it says the contact has 5 points > meaning they opened a email 5 times.

For more information Scoring, see our help guide.
