How to trigger automation after contact add through Wordpress Contact Form 7 Form

Hey everyone,

I have added a contact form 7 newsletter signup form on my website. I have an automation series set up in Active Campaign but I am not sure how to put the contact in the automation series.

It seems like with the free version of the Active Campaign plugin in wordpress there is no option to add the contact to a list or give the contact a tag.

It would be awesome to be able to do this without getting the premium plugin or having to use Zapier. Any ideas?

I know you have already installed Contact Form 7 and want a way to connect your CF7 forms to ActiveCampaign but you may consider using Forminator instead.

You can integrate directly with ActiveCampaign, subscribe the contact to a chosen list and assign tags to the contact to trigger your automations.
