How to put contacts back into automations

Hi guys,

I have contacts that went out of their respective automations due to an external problem (their server was down) and then Activecampaign reported the hard bounce and took them out of the automations.

Now the problem has been fixed and I should put these contacts back in the position they were in (each position is different and they are hundreds of contacts), is there a quick way to do this?

Greetings

Sveen

I recently had to do something kind of the same for a client that might help.

You can try use a Goal step in the automation.

Goals allow you to “jump” to a position.

For example, “if contact has X tag, jump to the goal point” and then it continues onwards.

I’ve attached a screenshot show it.

Hi, same problem here. I have put a goal into my automation. So far so good. I followed one of the instruction videos of AC for this. I have set the tag in my contact for the goal, f.e. skip to… but when I want to add the automation email at the right place where I want my contacts to start, I do not get the information as mentioned in the instruction video. So the lady explains: only two steps to go. Step one: I can add to the contact, but step two: it does not show the information as mentioned in this video: https://help.activecampaign.com/hc/en-us/articles/206293684-How-do-I-start-a-contact-at-a-specific-point-in-an-automation-#how-do-i-start-a-contact-at-a-specific-point-in-an-automation--0-0
Anyone? Thnx!
