How to Print an Automation?

Is there a way to print an automation (not simply printing the web page, which prints only the portion visible at the moment)?

If not, is there a way to Hide the right hand Actions column?

Hi Clay (@bungalowsoftware),

You can’t print within the ActiveCampaign platform nor can you minimize the ride hand Actions column. The only way to print an automation currently is through your web browser or taking a screenshot.

I would suggest you submit this idea so our product team is able to take this into consideration for future platform updates.

Screenshot might work. I can expland the browser to cover 2 screens. (I tried printing that way but it didn’t work. But screenshot should)

Hello ! I would also find a such “print” function very very usefull.

I already mentioned it as a feature request.

Some more idea : Having the possibility to expend or gather part of a simulation would be also very nice.

Like if you have a sequence of 10 mails in a automation… you may already know what the emails are about. So in order to have a better overview of the automation itself, this kind of functionality could be nice.

BTW, one thing I’ve realized is that my automations are too big. I am now trying to break them into smaller pieces. Gives you finer granularity of tracking and makes editing them easier.

Hey guys, there is a Chrome extension called Full Page Screen Capture. I use it to print long form (sometimes more than 6 meters) landing pages. It creates a n image of all the page, very useful.

I think this should work for automations as well. But be aware: You will still have the problem that a huge automation carries a lot of infomation, that means you have to use a large papers size to fit it.

Which one are you using?
Tried

  • Full Page Screen shot from mrcoles.com but it only captures what is visible on the screen, not the whole page.
  • Joxi Full Page Screen capture - works only with web PAGES.

Is there a way to upvote already submitted ideas? I imagine many of the same ideas are being repeatedly suggested by community members.

You can’t upvote already submitted ideas. However, behind the scenes, we’re using the voting feature to keep track of demand for different features. In addition, when you request a feature in the communities we upvote it for you.

With that being said I would still suggest submitting this as an idea. Though, I will upvote the idea for you as well!
