My goal is to be able to have product interest tags that have a weighting (Low, Medium, High) so I can see the degree of interest there is with each product.
My idea to do this is to create a pointing system. (The integrated one AC has doesn’t really work for what I want to do)
If I create a custom field for each product I can then incrementally add points to it depending on the interest activity of the contact. i.e. Product page visits. I can then use those points to define the level in interest in each product i.e 5 points creates a Medium Level interest tag.
I’m struggling to create one automation that applies the points to each of the products custom fields I’ve created. I can do it if I create an automation for each product but I have over 200 of them so would like to get it into one or a few. One per product category.
The automation I’ve attempted so far doesn’t work. The first product field (Pork fillet) populates in a weird way. It seems to jump to 10 in a matter of seconds then will not update any further. The second product field (Gammon slipper) does not populate at all.
I’m trying to get it working with just two products to begin with.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
