I want to tag anyone who clicks a link in an email.
In infusionsoft you simply select the link, a window pops up and you simply select “add a tag”, but I can’t find how to do this in AC.
Thanks!
Mark

Hi Mark,
My apologies for the delay. In ActiveCampaign this is called “Link Actions.”
Here’s a blog post that might help.
Let me know if you have any questions about this. I can make a video if that would be helpful.
Hello,
Is there a way to do this with custom html themes?
Michael
Is it possible to add a tag when a specific link is clicked in any email?
For example i might want to tag anyone who clicks a link to my homepage, but i don’t want to have to go through and set up an automation for every email i have ever sent. I’d like to do this once universally (ie works same for every email).
If this is possible, i cant figure it out.
I think i have figured out a work-around, by adding start triggers for every email a specific link is used in. It’s not ideal (universal would be much simpler), but better than creating separate automations for every link in every email.
Hello!
You can achieve this easily with the Link Action feature! Email Designer: Link Actions
