Hi AC community,
I would like to include a social media icon for the plattform Xing. Is there a way to add a custom social media button as a picture?
As alternative, I could just simple add a HTML block with images of social icons. If that is the only solution at the moment, could anybody provide me a HTML code that is Outlook-friendly? Thanks a lot.
Sven
Hello there,
This is Andres from the Customer Experience team here at ActiveCampaign. I apologize we missed this when it was originally posted but I wanted to provide an updated response in case somebody is having the same question.
We have a great quantity of social media links that we can select from, in order to access it you can follow these instructions:
-
Navigate to the campaign or automation email you want to update.
-
Click Edit to access the email designer.
-
Drag the Social Links content block to your email.
-
Click on the Social Links container in your campaign to trigger the sidebar settings menu. Here, you can choose to have the links open to your social network pages, or you can choose to let subscribers share your communication in their social networks.
-
To redirect subscribers to your social media network(s), choose Site under the “Link” dropdown. Then, enter your social media URL into the field to the right.
-
To let subscribers share your communication in their social networks, click the Link dropdown and choose an option under “Share” in the dropdown.
-
If a network you do not want to use is listed, click the trash icon to delete it.
-
To reorder social networks in this block, click the delete icon to remove the social networks. One social network will be left; this will be the first icon shown. To add the second icon, click the Plus (+) symbol next to the icon size and click the social network icon. Repeat this process by clicking the Plus (+) symbol and choosing the social network icon in the order you’d like.
If there is one you wish to add you can also add an image of the desired social media and add the action to redirect them when they click in the image.

I hope this helps!
