There may be someone in the community with ActiveWoo experience but, because it is a third-party solution, we aren’t familiar with the nuances of how it works.
I’m going to email the developer directly and see if he’s able to pop in and answer your question.
Yes please i need some help
The developer if he sells a product and if we have problems we should help but he does not.
To date it does not answer the questions and you recommend the use of the plugin so if it does not offer support they should not recommend the plugin …
Hello - this is Jason, I generally do my best to reply to all support request in one business day, and I thank @Brian for giving me a heads up so I can answer the question here – and my apologies to masquefuerte – I’ve gone into greater detail in my response here than I did in our support exchange ( note I DID and DO respond to every customer support enquiry).
ActiveWoo creates all the conditions necessary to do what you are looking to do.
Here is the recipe:
ActiveWoo enables applying a default tag, which is applied each time a customer purchases.
You use this tag to start the automation.
The first step in the automation is to then remove this tag so the automation can run each time a purchase happens. Masquefuerte, in our exchanges via my help desk, I believe you got this far.
ActiveWoo has a feature which allows for counting up the total number of purchases made by a customer:
When you enable this feature (by ticking the box, then clicking the Save Changes Button), ActiveWoo will create a custom field called “Total Orders Placed”
Back to your automation, create an If/Else rule that checks the content of this custom field.
There are a few ways you could do this, for example if the Total Orders Placed is greater than or equal to 1 – apply the tag “One Order Placed.”
Else if it is Greater than or Equal to 2 - apply the tag “Two Orders Placed” and so on.
However, you may find you don’t need these tags at all, since whatever you might want to do with those tags, could just be achieved with the if/else rule that checks for the number in the custom field.
I’ve heard nothing but positive things about your support and it has been great having you come into the community and answer questions as they come up.
Have you opened a ticket with our support team yet? If not, you can do so here. They’ll be able to do a more thorough investigation. If the problem is on our end, they’ll be able to help fix it. If the problem with the ActiveWoo plug in, @crazyeffective will be able to help.
