How do I sync ActiveCampaign and Google Contacts?

I have been searching for hours… how do I simply sync AC contacts with Google Contacts? Many other apps allow this very easily with a few clicks of the mouse in the Integrations section.

The only thing I can find here is that I must create an automation called “Create and update contacts in Google Contacts”. When I attempt to do this, I get a never-ending “loading…” message. (Still happens after refreshing page.) This seems like an awkward and cumbersome method, but perhaps this is a fantastic method and I just don’t understand it.

I simply want to have AC and Google Contacts stay in sync if I update a contact in either app.

Does anyone know why this seems so difficult to do?

Once you’ve connected successfully, the contacts will update every 30 minutes see here: “Once you have completed the set up, your existing Google Contacts will be added to your ActiveCampaign account and new contacts will be synced every 30 minutes.” article here: https://help.activecampaign.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000370290-Import-contacts-from-Google-Contacts-to-ActiveCampaign
