I’m not entirely sure if this question should be in the email marketing-sub instead, sorry if it should.
What I am looking for…:
My website runs on Wordpress
I send my customers newsletters via Active Campaigns
I would like my potential customers to access a newsletter archive via my website
I do not want to manually add a new newsletter into a WordPress page every time I send one
I feel like there should be some simple plugins that automatically add a new newsletter to your online archive - i just haven’t found it yet… The AC Wordpress pluging seems all about forms. What other options are there?
You could embed the campaign archive we generate into an iframe on your site.
You can find that by going to Lists, then clicking the down arrow next to a list. Then click Advanced. Then click the Public Pages tab. Next to Campaign Archive, click Edit. There, you’ll see a link to that list’s Campaign Archive.
Another question though… when I open up this archive as you described, it contains both newsletters and other emails I’ve sent to this list, like event invites. I only want to display the newsletters on my website.
Is it possible to edit this archive, and select which emails you want to display?
Or should i work with seperate lists specifically for the newsletters from now on? (even though the targeted group is exactly the same for the different types of emails, i just don’t want them archived on the website…)
It’s not possible to edit the messages. Any message you send to that list will appear in the Archive. If this is the solution you go with, then, yes, I’d recommend only sending the newsletter to a list and then having a duplicate list (same contacts) you send other messages to.
We count an email address as one contact so there’s no penalty for having two identical lists of contacts.
