How do I enable double opt-in for my ActiveCampaign form?

Double opt-in is turned on if you create a form that uses the “Subscribes to a list” form action in ActiveCampaign. However, double opt-in can be manually turned off at any time.

To turn the double opt-in back on for your form, follow the steps below:

  1. Click"Website on the left menu to navigate to the Forms overview page.
  2. Locate the form you wish to work with, then click the “Edit design” button.
  3. The form builder will load. All editing and style options will appear in the right pane. Click the “Options” tab located on the right pane.
  4. Locate the “Form Action” box. Click the pencil icon or the settings gear icon next to the “Subscribes to list” form action.
  • Note that the gear icon only appears if you are using the “Subscribes to a list” form action
  1. A modal window will appear. Click the toggle to turn on double opt-in.
  2. Click the “Save” button.
