Formidable (WP form) and AC tracking

I am new to AC and have tracking installed on the site. I am using Formidable forms for the site and have integrated those to AC via the formidable/AC addon. It seems that this only handles the form data but doesn’t do anything about the actual tracking identity of the user. In previous integrations unrelated to AC (was marketo specifically) i have had to write some js that will take the identifier and put it in to a hidden field on the form so that the form submitted can then later be coupled to the previous gotten tracking engagement data.

Is something like this the case with AC? and if yes, can someone point me in the direction of what cookie value needs to be pushed in the form to do this?

If I don’t do this, am i really stuck using AC for all webforms?

Hey John! Sorry we missed this when it was originally published, but in the spirit of providing insight on this question, I’ll be happy to take a look!

When it comes to site tracking, it is very important to highlight hat for your contacts to be identified, they must meet one of the following:

1. When contacts click on a link in a campaign.
2. When they submit a form created in ActiveCampaign.
3. By dynamically inserting the email address of known visitors into the tracking code.
