I have set up FB Lead Ads. I am using Data Synch with AdEspresso to link to Active Campaign.
My desire is to automate the process so that when a lead comes in it gets forwarded to the client.
I do NOT know what the trigger is when the lead comes in.
Can anyone please help me with that? I have searched every where to find the answer.

Iâm not familiar with AdEspresso so I donât know what options are available to you. When AdEspresso adds the contact to ActiveCampaign, do you have the option to add the contact to a list or tag?
If you could add a tag, that would be ideal. Then you could use the âTag addedâ trigger to begin the automation. If you can only add the contact to a list, you might want to create a list just for your Facebook Lead Ads and then use contacts being added to that list to trigger the automation.
Hi Rebecca- I am not familiar with AdEspresso wither so sorry I canât help there. However, if they canât automate the movement of the lead to Active Campaign, my software, Sync2CRM, does (sync2crm.com).
We can get the lead to your client two ways: 1) you can send email notifications, specific to each lead ad, to as many email addresses as you like. We also apply the lead to lists and tags designated by you, which can be used to kick off other automation.

I had a similar issue. If you want to trigger a campaign as example this doesnât work from Adespresso to AC list - some API setting is off.
If this is what you want then sync Adespresso to a list - âList 1â and then set-up an automation moving the contact from List 1 to List 2 - and then have an auto-campaign when a contact is subscribed to List 2, making it work flawlessly.
You can also setup other triggers or tags as Brian suggested.
