Error message: Form-builder

Hi guys,

Yesterday I setup a ebook for our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central - campaign;
https://www.jcd.dk/ebog/quickguide-inden-du-skifter-til-business-central/

I’m well happy with the result - it adapts on the page quite nicely - the form works! All fields works, submit and get a free book about Business Central. Fine.

Today, I want to change the form. And this morning I got:

A popup error message:

–oo–

Missing fields

Some required fields are missing from this form. Categories with missing fields have been highlighted in the sidebar.

–oo–

And iam not able to integrate the form (again). I find out, if i remove the “account”-field, the error disappears. If I start all over; remove all fields. It works… But if i add the “account”-field again, the error come back on.

Can anyone help :-/?

Hey jcd847,

Biannca here from our CX team, sorry we missed this when it was originally published.

In the spirit of providing insight on this question for anyone that comes across this post, when you use Account Custom Fields in Forms, the Account Name filled is required. However, if you’re capturing Contact Custom Fields, you need to delete the existing Account Custom Field and recreate the field under Contact Custom Field.

Once that’s been done, you won’t see the error message anymore. For more information, see this section https://screen.ac/YEuwA4gQ from guide.

Please don’t hesitate to reply back out if you have any further questions.
