Delivery through custom SMTP server

Dear honoured forum members, ActiveCampaign moderators,

we are really happy using ActiveCampaign with a lot of its features in use currently. But we
have some concerns regarding spam detection rate. It is a bit higher than that of E-Mails sent
through our own servers. Thus we wanna use our own SMTP for sending out Campaigns,
Automations and so forth, but haven’t found a way to do so. Neither help documents, nor a web search
was helpful at all.

We would greatly appreciate any help in that regard. Is it even possible ? If so, where do we find
the configuration interface for it?

Thank you very much in advance.

@investmentmore1 Unfortunately we do not offer any type of setting that allows you to send messages (of any type) through your own SMTP server or a SMTP relay. 100% of the messages sent from ActiveCampaign must be sent through our proprietary servers.

If this is crucial for you, you could consider using an integration like Zapier that triggers a Zap that in turn triggers an email on your own server or an SMTP relay. This email activity wouldn’t be tracked or recorded in ActiveCampaign, though. This type of setup would just trigger an external email based on actions your contacts take in ActiveCampaign.

Integration with SMTP relays is something other customers have requested and we may consider adding in the future, although we have no plans to do so at the moment. Would you mind submitting your idea at ideas.activecampaign.com?

The ideas forum is one of the primary ways our developers decide what to prioritize, and they pay close attention to the feedback we get there. I promise that your thoughts would mean a lot to the product team.
