We are trying to set the deal value to a custom value with input from our website. This value can be a number like “47.52”. When we push this through the API (v3) this value is invalid (4752) and we need round it back to a input like 48 to multiply by 100 (4800) so the deal value will be $48.
Why isn’t it possible to get a more specific deal value like $47.52? Now we need to create another custom deal field where we store the price more precisely.
Bumping this. If we hope to track precise revenue from our deals via ActiveCampaign, it’d be nice if we could use dollars and cents in the deal value rather than having it round up.
At this time, there is no way to set a value on a deal with cents. The value will always be rounded. I encourage you to submit your feedback in our public ideas portal (ideas.activecampaign.com), which our product team regularly reviews.
