Any update on the ability to add custom fields (and then use them in automatons) at the deal level? Our contacts can be in different stages with multiple deals, and we need to be able to send specific automatons (as well as use deal-specific data) to the contact based on deal-specific items.
Hold tight! A release will be out very very very soon.
Hi Ben, the highly anticipated Custom Deal Fields is here! Check it out: https://www.activecampaign.com/blog/announcing-custom-deal-fields/
@vflores: That’s great news! Can we also add the ability to filter the deal view based on Deal Level fields? That would really allow the deal owners to close deals faster.
For e.g. if a deal owner wants to view how many deals have the Forecasted Close Date as December, he can just put a filter and get that information.
Is there any way to do this right now on the AC UI?
@sokratitechnologies I’m a Product Manager at ActiveCampaign and I’m happy to let you know that filtering on deal fields is coming in December.
This was our initial release of custom deal fields and we will continue to iterate on the feature in the coming months. As mentioned, filtering is coming in December. We also know personalization tags and automation triggers are important supporting features and they are coming in January/February. And more to come after that! If you have any feedback or want to chat more, feel free to reach out to me at email@example.com. Thanks!
please give an update as to when custom deal-level fields will be available for content personalization. This is a critical piece for many of us. We share the same issue as OP where a given contact may be in various stages of various deals and we cant just push a single deal’s custom fields to the contact level - it doesnt work if trying to manage communications around each deal separately. Hi Brad, We are on target to roll out deal field personalization by the end of this month. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
What’s the latest ETA on this? The end of the month has come and gone
