Deal email notifications delayed and too many

What I expect : After a deal is created that one email notifying the appropriate deal owner to get an email instantly

What is happening : No instant deal email, lots of deal emails coming through every day in batches for the same deal?? Different times of day. It’s a new account so it’s definitely not new deals!

Activecampaign aren’t replying to support tickets either… Pls help

Looks like our Support team reached back out to you and per their answer this is happening because you have a connected email address under settings > deals and also notifications turned on for deals under settings > notification.

This is causing you to receive emails update when any of your contact with an open deal sends an email as it is syncing them to the profile. You can uncheck the box for update to any deals here http://screen.ac/18f47dcac954 . This will stop the email received notification.
