Hello,
I am just seeking some clarification on how the “date is after” condition will work in my automation I am about to activate.
A tag will put people in the sequence which will send one email immediately. I then want anyone who enters the sequence to get their next email on Feb 12. If they join the sequence after the 12th they would get both email #1 and this second email right away…do I have that right?
Thanks!

I’m not 100% on this, but what I typically do in this situation is test
I’ll create a “dumbed down” version of the automation with a date already in the past.

Thank you! Will give it a test
Here is what worked for my “test” …adding another condition to my existing “after the date” condition…checking the box that says"continue automation if conditions are not met within a certain time" I then chose to have it send within 1 hour and the second email was sent. Perhaps that will help anyone else with a similar goal.
although I am seeing that is something I would have to modify after my scheduled date has passed. So it is not the perfect fix. Meaning there must be a better set up so I can prep the sequence and never have to look back at it. This requires me to check in with it still.
