Creating Referer accounts via the API

I’m looking at creating an iPhone app that captures data into AC

  • via a card scanner
  • via a form that can be used even when offline

It would be very helpful to the workflow if affiliate accounts could be created via an API in the same way as reseller accounts can be.

It would also help avoid some cookie / tracking issues I’ve had occasionally if creating accounts via our own recommendations.

It would allow us to send some bonus materials to our referrals as part of the signup process.
