Create tasks to a deal and add it to 2 contacts

Hi everybody,

I’m new with Active Campaign. Right now, I’m testing it.

When creating a new deal, I always need to link this deal with least 2 contacts (one candidate and one customer, as I’m a recruiter). And after, when creating a new task for this deal, I need the task to be attached to the 2 contacts (the candidate and the customer).

Is it possible ? It seems the created task is only attached to the “main contact” of the lead, the one with a yellow star :frowning:

At this time, any tasks created within a deal will only attach to the Primary Contact on the account and there is not a way to attach the task to any other Contact within the Deal. Alternatively, if you need a task to also be attached to any other Contact in the Deal you can create an additional task within that Secondary Contact’s Record.

Please note that the above is true when it comes to 1 to 1 Deal emails and updating deals through an automation, it must go through the Primary Contact.

I can absolutely see how this would be a great option in ActiveCampaign and would highly encourage you to share this on ideas.activecampaign.com so we can consider it for a future update! :slight_smile:
