Create Automation with Email Campaign

Hi!

I`m trying to create an automation that I will send an email to all my list and then send another based on behavior. My quesiton is: How do I start it?

I understand all the automation, but don`t understand how I start.

Thanks,

Hi @2030studio140!

Let’s dig into your scenario a little more

What’s the goal of this automation?

What is your intended timing for this second email?

What is your desired behavior or outcome from the initial campaign? The second?

This will help refine and find an ideal start trigger!

Hi 2030studio140, Biannca here from our CX team.

There are 3 simple steps you need to action to build your first automation with an email based on what you’ve mentioned so far. The steps are:

1. Set-Up Your Start Trigger.

  • The start trigger determines how contacts are added to automations. You can learn more about our Automation Triggers here.

2. Dragging and dropping the “Email action” into the automation and building your email.

3. Determining your conditions after the email is sent.

  • Once your contacts receive the first email., you need time to determine what conditions you want the contacts to meet before they receive any further messages in the automation. For example you want the contacts to wait 1 day before the next email - you can add a wait 1 day automation action. You can learn more about our automation actions here.

Last but not least, put your automation “Active” when you’ve completed it and feel free to test it by create a test contact into the automation so you can observe how the automation works. Here’s a detailed walkthrough on building automations and how you can manage it.
