Contact "status" values?

Greetings!

I’m retrieving a list of contacts in an account (mine, for testing) and I’m trying to determine the range of values possible for the “status” field and the corresponding meaning. The documentation reads “Status for this list. Example: 1” as a description for this field, but this isn’t terribly clear to me.

I’m using the “contact_list” endpoint.

edit: I found some mention inside the comments of the code example, but I have at least one contact coming back with status of ‘3’, which isn’t included in the comment that I saw.

If I might suggest a couple of edits to the documentation here: http://www.activecampaign.com/api/example.php?call=contact_list

  • Add the “3” value
  • Move or copy the value definitions from the comment inside the code example to the bottom, or (even better) to the explanation of “status” (it’s super hard to find right now)
  • In the description of the “filters” parameter, there’s a reference to material below the code example which doesn’t appear now to be present

Thanks for the feedback on the docs, we are aware that that version is a bit out of date. We will be moving to a much more RESTful implementation + docs soon!

In the meantime, I would encourage you to suggest any ideas you have directly to our product team so you can skip the middle-man :slight_smile:
