Would I be able to have two separate Active Campain CRM accounts on the same PC for two different businesses? Or will this mess things up?

There’s no reason you can’t run multiple businesses from a single ActiveCampaign account. You’re able to modify the sender information on campaigns, the address in your campaign footer, and create an unlimited amount of pipelines.

in Chrome or Firefox you can set different profile… so basically you will create 2 chrome shortcut… one with account A , and other with account B… this way you can have 2 chrome open with different activecampaign’s session.
