Can Google Tag Manager be used to add AS tracking code?

I set up the ActiveCampaign destination on Segment.com along with adding the website tracking code through Google Tag Manager. I’m running into some issues with triggering site messages on specific pages.

AC support chat is stating that AC tracking code can not be added through GTM but has to be added directly to the site.

Trying to get clarification. Can Google Tag Manager be used to add AS tracking code?

Welcome to our Community! Thanks for posting here.
Unfortunately, we do not support tracking code being placed in any 3rd party platforms like Google Tag Manager. In order for it to work properly, it must be placed directly into the Site’s code. Hope this clarifies.
