Call REST API in automation flow

Hi,

a user is filling an AC form in WordPress. This triggers a workflow in AC and I need to send the user a mail.
In this mail, I need to include a piece of information, which I have to get from a REST API in my application (external to AC).

How is this possible?
I can not find the place to go and even don’t want to integrate with Zapier or such at this moment.

It sounds like you are trying to use personalization tags to include information from your contact record into your campaign, right? To bring this information over via API, you will need to check our API Overview page to see if the REST call you need is an option to bring the information over from your application. You can view this page here. You can also check our Apps page here, to see if we have a direct integration with the application that you are using. If we do not have a native integration, then Zapier might be the only option to bring the information over.
