Our current need for Active Campaign is sending check-in messages through Sakari to clients after they’ve visited us to see how their pet is going. Since we have repeat clients here and there, I want to avoid sending the exact same message to the same person, if they’ve visited us only a few days ago. It’s not ideal to keep a log of all the people we’ve interacted with each day, as there can be up to 100’s, and time would be wasted checking over all names.
Is there an automation or section that can avoid sending a message to a client if they’ve visited us, or been sent a check-in message, in the last week? Alternatively, I’d be happy to send a similar message, worded differently, but would still need Active Campaign to know we have spoken through Sakari in the last 7 days.

Create an automation which is trigged by a visit or check in message. Have the automation add a tag, wait 7 days, and then remove the tag.
You can then not send a message, or send a different message, depending on whether or not the tag is present. You can also pause a message so that it only sends once the tag is removed.
