Automation - changing wait time once contacts in queue

I’ve got an automation with 4 emails spaced with 2 days wait time between each, i currently have people queued in the wait 2 days box between email 1 and 2 - I want to change the wait time to 1 day, what will happen to those queued up if they have already been waiting more than 24 hours AC immediately send they email 2 and move them on in the automation ?

Hi Jonathan,

Yes, that is correct. If they’ve already waited 24 hours and you reduce the wait time to 24 hours or less, the contacts will move forward through the automation.
