Automatically add the goal step to the point where automation broke

Please, can anyone help me?

When a contact receives a specific tag, I need the contact to go back into automation from the point the automation broke.

I don’t want the contacts to go back to a specific point in the automation, but for each contact to start over from the point where the automation was stopped. Thus, it may be that each contact returns to a different point.

For example, it could be that one contact needs to switch back to automation from email 10, but it could be that other contacts need to switch back to email 7, email 2, or any other email.

In short, the point at which automation broke may be different in each case. How to automatically get back to the point where the automation broke?

If this is not possible using ActiveCampaign’s native tool, how can I solve it?

Do you have an automation that actually broke and you’ve now fixed it and need to reinsert these contacts into it at the points they were at, or do you have an automation that you either stopped or had a way for people to exit and you need to way for them to get back in at the point where they left? Is this a one-time fix, or do you need to set up something ongoing because you expect people to be exiting and reentering this automation regularly?
