Is it possible to add an automation to a contact at the same time as creating one?
It seems like of a lot of steps to make a call to create a contact, parse the response for the id and then create an automation for that contact through a separate call.
Couldn’t find anything in the documentation.

Just jumping in here. At this time, there is not an API call that creates a contact and adds them to an automation at the same time. If you would like to see a call like this added, I would encourage you to submit the idea here: https://ideas.activecampaign.com/ideas/new.
