Ways to automatically delete identified spam contacts

It would be really useful to be able to automatically delete identified spam contacts from our Active Campaign account.

We’ve implemented the double opt-in and reCAPTCHA in all our forms to prevent spam/bot submissions but they still come through.

Hey @cultureconsultancy70 ,

One smart workaround you might consider is using an email verifier tool in Zapier, like Prospeo, MillionVerifier, or NeverBounce as part of your form submission flow.

:hammer_and_wrench: How it works:

  1. Your form (like Typeform, Gravity Forms, WPForms, etc.) collects the lead.
  2. Zapier sends the email to a verifier (e.g., Prospeo).
  3. If the result is “valid” or “safe” ➝ then Zapier pushes the contact to ActiveCampaign.
  4. If it’s invalid, role-based, or flagged as spam ➝ Zapier can stop the flow, tag them, or even log it for review instead.

This way, spammy or fake emails never even hit your ActiveCampaign list, keeping it clean and improving deliverability.

You’re already using double opt-in and CAPTCHA, so layering this on top should really tighten things up

Let me know if you want a sample Zapier flow or need help choosing a verifier.
