Using automations to re-engage customers

We created a re-engagement automation recipe to attempt to re-gain business from customers that fell out of the pipeline. Through this campaign, we were able to track user engagement through tags, while also being able to re-engage past customers. We decided to structure the recipe with multiple “if/else” conditions to restructure the cadence of email sends based off of user engagement. The if/else conditions used where “if the user clicked within 30 days”. We leveraged this condition to ensure we weren’t being overbearing with our content sends. This method significantly reduced the amount of unsubscribes we received. Creating an automation to re-engage customer is a low lift, but effective way to streamline workflows to regain business.
