Thanks Liz & Oscar for hosting the Denver Study Hall. I was only signed up for the first day - but it was very productive, and I have a number of changes to our existing setup and new things to try. I’ll be busy working on this for a while. There is a lot to learn & explore - and we’re only on the Starter package.
It was such a pleasure having you in class earlier this month! I hope we see you again at another Study Hall - I’d love to see the new things you’re going to try and how they work for you!
Thanks Liz! I’ve been putting what I learned to work - though perhaps not as quickly as I would like. When launching a new non-profit - you wear too many hats in the beginning.
You may not recall, but during study hall we looked at an error I was getting from one of my campaign message links. I submitted ticket number #10341889. That ticket is still open, and the support person keeps coming back asking for thinks already provided. I’ll give benefit of the doubt that this is not typical, but it’s not been a very satisfying support experience on this one. I would appreciate it if you could escalate this within the support group - I’ve had 13 email exchanges since opening the ticket - and that’s about 10 too many…
I went ahead and added myself to your ticket to see if we can get you some answers! Sorry that there has been so much back and forth on this, lets see if we can get your account set so you can start implementing all that knowledge that Liz imbued on you in study hall!!
Hey! I had a team member investigate what is going on with the UTM parameters. You will be receiving an update with all the details and next steps soon!
Alanna,
Here’s is my latest response on the UTM issue. I am checking with the website provider, but it is not consistently failing - so it is still possibly an ActiveCampaign issue.
OK, I have temporarily turned off Google Analytics globally while I address the issue with the website provider.
However, in our most recent informational email campaign (sent today, 5/5), there are three links in the message body - two pointing to articles and one pointing to a Blog on the BLMI website. The links below are copied directly from the email received in my personal inbox, and the rendered links from the browser address bar.
Note that the two ARTICLE links work as expected - with the “?utm_source=” code included. It is only the BLOG link that consistently does not work. I will be checking with the website provider, but this still appears to be an issue originating from ActiveCampaign from my perspective. If it were strictly a website provider issue, I would expect all of the UTM links to fail consistently.
