Should I delete unsubscribers?

I have about 60 people who have unsubscribed from my newsletter list. Should I delete them from AC entirely? I likely won’t reach out to them again via another list.

Since contacts that aren’t subscribed to lists don’t count toward your contact limit, there’s really no reason to delete them. I think you’re right to consider deleting them, because there’s no point in messaging them anymore, but I think it’s worth keeping them around just so have their data there to run reports on.

How do I know my contact is being counted as unsubscribed? Is having the tag on them enough?

If you go to the lists section of the contact record it should show all the lists as unsubscribed, like this:

That’s not showing up for me. I manage my subscriptions manually. How can I personally unsubscribe a contact myself?

If you open the a contact record by clicking on the name or email address of a contact, it should display the Lists section (toward the bottom of the contact record). Be sure that you’ve got all the boxes expanded.

Here’s a short video I made showing you where it’s located.

Sorry, I’m not being clear. I want to manually unsubscribe a contact myself personally. How can I do that?
