We think it is a good idea to be able to control / schedule Resend Time - rather than just send it directly.
Also a combination of Send to all NEW and Send to all that has not OPEN is a good thing rather than have to do it as two seperate operations. Unclear in GUI and Help docs online what exact business case the two different settings are trying to address/solve. Or if imported 50 new contacts after first send…will one of them cover JUST the new ones or will Resend to all NOT openedd ALSO send to the NEw imported ones. Unclear.

You’re right that the current resend options could be clearer. Let me break down how it works and address your concerns:
“Resend to contacts who didn’t open” — Sends only to people from the original send list who didn’t open. This does NOT include contacts added after the original send.
“Send to new contacts” — Sends only to contacts who matched your segment/list criteria AFTER the original send went out (like your 50 imported contacts example).
So to answer your question: If you imported 50 new contacts after the first send, you’d need to use “Send to new contacts” to reach them. The “didn’t open” option won’t include them.
