I was creating an automation today and (as I commonly do) added an error handler that sends me an email notification if someone schedules the wrong appointment type, etc. Checks and balances essentially.
However, I’m starting to realize how many of these notifications come through in a day and it is getting hard to manage and manually adjust things for each scenario.
When looking for a solution, I thought of a potential feature within ActiveCampaign that might be helpful to quickly resolve scenarios like this.
What if there was an ability to add buttons with embedded links to notification emails that could be clicked to trigger an action? → Just like link actions available in the email designer for traditional campaigns
Here is an example notification email I have set up to verify deals are still active that have been in the follow-up pipeline stage for a while. I added the red buttons below as an example of buttons that could be added and once clicked, triggering a different automation to complete the action shown in the button title.
