Hey team, I’m hoping some of the AC geniuses here can help me solve a problem.
I have a huge list in Mailchimp, but I’m launching a niche program that will only be relevant to a small segment of that list. Also, I don’t want to use MC anymore.
Is there a way to send a broadcast email to my MC list, and include a link that lets them opt in to a new list that’s on AC?
The email would say something like, “… if you’re interested, click here and we’ll send you a free guide to XYZ.” Then they would click that link to opt in, get the guide, and be added to an AC list and automation.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Hi @growthworks,
So, you actually don’t need your Mailchimp contacts to subscribe to ActiveCampaign. You can just export your Mailchimp list and import it into ActiveCampaign. Here is a doc. on how to go about that for Mailchimp contacts into ActiveCampaign.
Once the contact list is in ActiveCampaign you can segment it for the small group you mentioned. Here is a guide that walks you through how to segment a list.
Hope this helps!
