Email Signature

Why does my HTML email signature lose its icons and logos when I paste it into ActiveCampaign, showing only plain text instead? How can I ensure that the images are properly included?

Hey Steela,

Thank you for reaching out! In order to understand this further, would you be able to post a screenshot of the code pasted into the signature field? It would also help to have a screenshot of how it appears when the email is sent in order to understand which parts of the code are not functioning as intended.

Hi, did you manage to find a solution ?
I got the same issue, can have a proper signature with logo and icon. Only the text is add when I past it from my signature generator tools.

I’ve found when pasting the html code into the signature field that it often gets automatically reformatted and therefore breaks. I usually have to double/triple check that what’s in the signature field exactly matches my code, or do some editting in the actual signature box.

When you paste your HTML signature directly into ActiveCampaign, it sometimes strips out linked images and formatting, leaving just the plain text. To fix it, you’ll want to make sure the images are hosted online (with a public URL) and referenced by URL in your HTML, not embedded locally.

Another option is to use an email signature manager tool that can properly generate and handle hosted images for you — it keeps everything neat and ensures your icons and logos stay intact when importing into platforms like ActiveCampaign.
