Cannot set user on a contact note (v3 API)

I’m attempting to pull in notes from another platform and I would like to retain the notes’ authors. However, I’ve attempted to set user and userid to valid ActiveCampaign users in my organization when creating or updating notes with no change. The endpoints (POST contacts{contactId}/notes and PUT /notes/{noteId}) return successful status codes, however the notes’ user is always the user associated with my API credentials.

Am I missing the correct way to set/update a note’s user, or is this not possible through the API by design?

Hi spacecraft. The contact endpoint is still not working in the v3 API as far as I know. We’ve been waiting for some time to hear back from AC staff on this issue, but it seems radio silence. :roll_eyes:
