It’s party time ActiveCampaign people - calendar dates in waits, goals and if/else steps for automations are rolling out to accounts as we speak!
New wait goals & if/else dates handling is due to be live in all accounts by end 30th Jan
This is THE big feature shift AC users have been waiting on… and it’s BIGGER and BETTER than even I expected.
More to come on this soon from me, so stay tuned.
So excited, for real - this is a game-changer for anyone automating events, waitlists, offers etc - anything working off a specific calendar date just got massively easy to automate in ActiveCampaign.
BIG kudos to the AC product teams who have worked long & hard to bring this to life in a way that truly serves users - thank you!

Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on this!
At the moment, date & time is added as an action, there are current date & current day of the week. What does it mean with current day of the week?
Day of Week would be like Monday, Tuesday, etc. as seen below:
You also have the option to choose Weekdays or Weekends.
Is this in the account’s timezone, or the contact’s timezone.
Because let’s say my account is set to Australian timezones…
But I have contacts in Europe (many hours behind Australia)…
So it’s going to be Tuesday in Australia before it’s Tuesday in Europe.
Would it wait until it’s Tuesday in Australia, or wait until it’s Tuesday in the contact’s timezone.
There’s a few new “wait until conditions” (that also sometimes include times), but you can’t specify the timezone, so it’s not clear which it’s operating under.
@gavinwiener in most places where a date or time is used in conditions you have options for:
- account timezone
- contact timezone
- fixed timezone of your choice
If options are not available, I’d assume account timezone, and run a quick test for certainty
