I have the following issue: I set up a form, list, campaign and automation…everything correct and as shown on your videos. When I test, AC send the test emails, but when I put my email in the opt-in form, nothing works …AC doesn`t send anything…the subscriber’s email address is being added to the list, but it is not sending the subscriber the email set up in the automation. Even the confirmation message (I use double opt-in) isn’t send to the subscriber.
Does anyone has an idea who to fix that?
Thanks in advance!
Best

Any answer to this? I see the same issue when I’m testing. Sometimes the confirmation email goes out, other times it doesn’t. Sometimes my automation will engage after pressing the confimation link in opt-in confirmation email, sometimes it won’t. As OP mentioned, I show the email address in my contacts, so it has been added. but Activecampaign is not sending the messages consistently.
Hey Rudolf! Sorry we missed this when it was originally published, but in the spirit of providing insight on this question, I’ll be happy to take a look!
When it comes to this type of setup, there are a few factors to take a look at when checking your contacts. Feel free to contact us, so we can take a closer look!
Now, when it comes to triggering automations with forms. It is recommended to use “form is submitted” trigger when using a single opt-in form. Since the double opt-in also requires and extra confirmation from your contacts, you’ll notice that your contacts will enter the automation before they confirm the subscription and that can cause this type of issues. Instead, I would use the “subscribes to list” option, and then add the list that is attached to your form there. This will make sure that your contacts enter once they have confirmed they subscription 100%.
Keep us posted with any questions!
