Hi everyone! Devin from the Automations team here, just wanted to let you know that we have turned on some supporting functionality for Business Goals within automations:
Business Goal/Conversion Tracking:
Under Automation Settings you can now assign a unique Conversion or Business Goal to it as a desired outcome. We will then check when contacts achieve the respective conversions while in the automation and report on it for you. This makes it much simpler for you to track the effectiveness of your automations!
Goal actions are now called Jump To
Given the new functionality above, it felt confusing to still call these actions “Goals” so, we have opted to rebrand this action as Jump To which more naturally describes the functionality it offers within an automation. You will see this name change also reflected in segments and reports that the Goal action supports.
Path View Support
You’ll now see when a contact achieves a particular Conversion or Business goal from within the Path View. Additionally, if the contact was removed from the automation due to it achieving the conversion you’ll see a new message acknowledging this.
