I have noticed that when I send an email using a Saved Response, there are several fonts being used in the message body. Looking at the saved response itself there is no formatting, but I may have copy & pasted content that used other fonts when crafting the saved response. There is no way in the saved response window to set the font, so the content must be holding onto prior formatting somehow and there is no way to clear it.
Hi there! You’ve identified exactly what’s happening — when you copy and paste content into saved responses, it often brings hidden formatting with it (fonts, styles, spacing, etc.) even when it looks plain in the editor.
Moving forward, I suggest pasting as plain text.
- When building your saved response, paste content using Ctrl+Shift+V (or Cmd+Shift+V on Mac) instead of regular paste
- This pastes without any formatting
Ok thanks for the advice. Seems pretty poor design that the output of the saved response can look very different to what you see in the editing panel!
