API v3 /contacts - updated timestamp fields never update

Hi,

I’m building an integration with one of our client applications and Active Campaign and am seeing some slightly strange behaviour with the contacts endpoint.

When I retrieve a contact object via the v3 API I can see that the updated_utc_timestamp field among others.

However, when I edit that contact by changing name or email in the Active Campaign UI, this field does not get updated in the data returned from the API - even though I can see the updated email address or name in the returned payload.

This also affects use of the filters[updated_after] filter as the updated contact never gets returned except when I specify the (incorrect) updated timestamp.

Is this a known issue, or does this field only get updated under certain conditions?
