Webflow and modal form centering

Hello, I’m trying to integrate a modal form on to our website (built on webflow). When we insert the simple embed code, the form shows up right at the top of the page and looks weird. We have tried moving our modal down using custom CSS code. The code however seems to have no effect on the positioning of the modal, which is located to close to the top of the page.

Any help would be appreciated!
